Controller (Plant)

A private equity-backed aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Plant Controller for one of its Southern California manufacturing facilities.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing finance leader who enjoys partnering with operations, improving processes, and making a visible impact at the plant level. Reporting into corporate finance leadership, you'll lead all accounting and finance activities for the facility while managing a small accounting team.

What you'll be doing:

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting for the manufacturing plant
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Drive cost accounting and inventory analysis
• Lead monthly and quarterly financial reviews with leadership
• Oversee capital expenditure planning and reporting
• Manage cash forecasting and cash management activities
• Partner closely with plant leadership to improve operational and financial performance
• Develop and mentor the accounting team while strengthening internal processes and controls

We're looking for professionals with:

• Progressive accounting and finance experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong cost accounting expertise
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Cash forecasting and cash management experience
• A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to spend time on the manufacturing floor building relationships with operations
• Self-starter who enjoys solving problems and driving continuous improvement
• ERP experience in a manufacturing environment (Visual is a plus)
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is beneficial but not required
