Controller

A highly regarded, public foundation that focuses on supporting and funding grassroots movements, currently has a position available for a Controller experienced with non-profit account management. This is a remote position and can fully operate from a home office setup anywhere in the continental United States. Required work experience includes:

• 5+ years of experience with non-profit accounting and financial management is
• Experience with CPA audits is
• MUST be skilled in advanced Microsoft Excel functions, QuickBooks, and using PC computers
• Experience with cloud-based accounting is a BIG PLUS
• MUST have experience with managing budgets over $1M
• MUST be familiar with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) for non-profits
• Previous experience in a public or private foundation is a BIG PLUS
