Job Description

The Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Risk Advisory team serves as a key first-line-of-defense risk partner across the CRE organization. The team provides oversight, guidance, and support for a broad range of operational risk activities, including issue management and remediation, audit support, escalated customer complaint resolution, procedure governance, business continuity planning, third-party oversight, risk and control activities, change management initiatives, and process improvement efforts. Team members work closely with business leaders to strengthen controls, improve operational effectiveness, and ensure risks are appropriately identified and managed.

This role partners with multiple CRE business units to help navigate complex operational challenges and organizational change. Responsibilities may include investigating and resolving business issues, identifying process gaps, coordinating remediation efforts, advising on controls and governance, supporting audits and regulatory activities, assessing operational impacts of business changes, and driving process improvement initiatives. The position requires a consultative approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to develop practical solutions that balance business objectives, client needs, and risk considerations.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $124,355.00 - $146,300.00
