Billing/Accounting Specialist

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Accounting Specialist to join our core team and help drive our daily financial operations.

The Role

As our Billing & Accounting Specialist, you will play a vital role in our office operations, ensuring sales are processed accurately and management has the timely data they need. We are looking for a professional who brings excellent organizational skills, a flexible mindset, and a positive attitude to their daily work.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and accurately post daily sales transactions.

• Generate and deliver regular financial and operational reports for the management team.

• Compile, format, and submit monthly sales data to appropriate internal departments.

• Partner with the broader accounting team to assist in month-end closing procedures.

• Adapt seamlessly to varying daily tasks and operational needs while promoting a positive, collaborative environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Professional Background: At least 1 year of accounting or billing experience is preferred.

• Technical Proficiency: Highly proficient with spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets) and foundational computer operations.

• Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the energy or fuel sector is a strong plus.

• Software Familiarity: Experience with the Cargas Energy back-office system or similar fuel management software programs is highly beneficial.

• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, sharp attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
