This role utilizes corporate accounting processes and systems to ensure timely transaction processing, account reconciliation, and compliance with internal controls. 2.0 Responsibilities: including but not limited to Use caution and support systems to assure a safety event free facility Respond to any emergency or potential emergency following established procedures Observe, respond, and report to any instance of product, service, or quality systems non conformance Security diligence: maintain control of keycards, prevent unauthorized entry to facilities by non-Amcor employees, and proper maintenance / security of Amcor equipment Successfully complete Primary Duties as outlined in 4.0 and associated training 3.0 Authorities: including but not limited to Pause activity and notify safety lead in any facility regarding instances of potentially unsafe work environments or employee and supplier practices Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformity of product, service, or quality systems Initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels Suggest actions for continual improvement to products, processes, or systems and verify the implementation of solutions 4.0 Primary Duties: including but not limited to Process and maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely completion. Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices while resolving billing discrepancies. Reconcile customer, vendor, and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy of financial records. Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and supporting documentation. Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances as needed. Support internal and external audit requests and maintain documentation in accordance with company policies and internal controls. Prepare routine financial reports and assist with data analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and process improvement opportunities. Collaborate with internal departments, customers, and vendors to resolve accounting-related issues. 5.0 Qualifications / Education Required: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, or financial operations experience. Experience in performing account reconciliations, month-end activities, and managing financial transactions in a business environment. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis. Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities. 6.0 Preferred Skills / Experience: Experience working in a corporate accounting environment, preferably within a publicly traded company. Experience with JD Edwards (JDE) ERP and/or QuickBooks systems strongly preferred. Familiarity with financial controls, audit support, and compliant environments. Experience identifying and implementing process improvements within accounting or finance functions. Strong communication skills with the ability to partner effectively across departments.
