The AR Specialist plays a pivotal role in receivables account management and customer relations. This is a hands-on role that involves day-to-day interactions with customers and internal stakeholders. The Accounts Receivable Specialist directly works and supports the Accounts Receivable Manager to maintain compliance, streamline processes, and support the financial health of the organization. In addition to account monitoring and customer relations, the Accounts Receivable Specialist focuses on achieving KPI’s and improve client satisfaction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Regularly monitor customer accounts to determine financial health · Actively communicates with customers by phone and email to discuss account status and collect past due balances · Works closely with colleagues to determine billing discrepancies and solutions · Maintains tracking report relating to assigned accounts on the customer and invoice levels · Maintains accurate notes in Sage regarding invoice balances · Applies payments and processes credit cards transactions · Evaluates new customer credit history and provides summary to Accounts Receivable Manager to determine creditworthiness · Completes other duties assigned by Accounts Receivable Manger or Director of Finance to support company objectives

Education, Skills, and Experience: · Associates degree with 5+ years of experience in billing or accounts receivable department with business-to-business interaction. · Experience with high-volume transaction teams preferred · Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical thinking skills · Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. · Proven discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information. · Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (using formulas), Outlook and Teams. · Professional written and verbal communication skills. · Self-motivated with the ability to cross function with other teams and contribute to a positive working environment.
