A HornBill client in Danbury, Connecticut (CT) is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Generate invoicing for all customers on a daily, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Issues customer credit memos/debit memos as needed
- Provides invoices as per customer requirements
- Regularly reviews customer bill terms to ensure the customer is billed accordingly
- Responsible for invoice delivery of equipment, service contract, service and or project billing invoices via post, email, portal entry, etc.
- Provides backup assistance with cash application
- Provides continuous improvement to billing and portal delivery processes
- Assists in providing document support for audits
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and suppliers
- Complies with all company policies, procedures and safety standards
- Associate's degree in a business-oriented field preferred
- Three to five years of transactional accounting (billing, AR) experience preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Ability to produce quality work with a high level of proficiency and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing demands and priorities
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive data and information
