HornBill has a client, a top 100 CPA firm in search of an Accounts Receivable Administrator in New York, New York (NY). Summary: They require a self-motivated professional with a desire to take on this challenging opportunity to work in a team-oriented environment. You will assist the internal accounting division with day to day operations. Essential Functions include:
- Initiate calls to delinquent clients to collect payments and settle accounts with continued follow up until resolved
- Work with partners to resolve open issues with clients to their required resolution
- Investigate discrepancies concerning cash application and adjust accordingly
- Monthly/weekly collection reporting
- Post customers payments by recording cash, checks and credit card transactions
- Protect organization by keeping information confidential
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience (in a public accounting firm a plus) performing similar duties as those listed
- Acumatica and Practice Management experience a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft office applications
- Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks, responsive and polished communication skills (verbal and written)
