Accounts Payable Clerk

Now HIRING!! AppleTree Staffing is partnering with our client in Greenfield looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This company has been around since 1980 and continues to grow its operations to produce reliable fluid power solutions for its customers.

Responsibilities:

• Processes trade invoices by verifying transaction information, enters vendor invoices, and filed associated paperwork

• Processes non-trade invoices for approval by COO

• Enters manual AP transactions for completion via printed check or wire transfer (ACH)

• Contacts vendors for invoice or credit copies as needed.

• Contributes to the team effort by working together with other team members to accomplish the responsibilities of the department

• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential

• Reviews vendor statements

• Maintains historical records by scanning and filing documents

• Handle any other requestions that would be required to accomplish tasks.

• Perform other related job functions as needed to reach results

Requirements:

• 2 or more year’s previous accounting experience or education

• Basic working knowledge of computer systems and related software.

• Knowledgeable of accounting and financial systems and procedures, company policies and department operations.

• Ability to prioritize and to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner

• Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative

• Able to meet deadlines

• Excellent organizational and analytical skills

• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative

Job Type: Full Time

SHIFT: 1^st Shift

Pay: $40k+ based on experience
