Accounts Payable Clerk (AP Clerk)

Position Details:

• Location: Full-Time: In the Jackson, MI Corporate Office
• Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am.-5:00pm. (Overtime as needed)
• Wage: Starting at $17.50 per hour

 Day to Day:

• Reconciliation of financial statements
• Handle confidential information on a regular basis
• Processing of bill payments to vendors and affiliates 
• Manage accounts transactions and monthly reporting
• Providing support over the phone and by email for customers and employees
• Resolve administrative issues with customers
• Internet research, create journal entries, document management and retention
• Assist other areas in the company and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required
• Accounting software knowledge (QuickBooks, Peachtree, NetSuite, etc.)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Working knowledge of general ledger and chart of accounts
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic, integrity, and values
