As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will use your Accounting skills to review, process and execute timely payment of vendor invoices related to the operations division, while thriving in a company that encourages you to learn and grow with us.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain general accounts payable functions by entering bills and printing checks on a bi-weekly basis
- Process invoices and print checks for monthly forcible detainers
- Process security deposit returns
- Review, analyze and process utility bills for multi-family housing
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including W-9 forms
- Reconcile vendor statements monthly
- Process 1099 forms annually
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree [Accounting preferred]
- Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes and basic Accounting principals
- Good communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to analyze invoices and read ledgers
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency computer skills with ability to easily learn new software, QuickBooks experience preferred
- A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic
- 1-2 years' experience in bookkeeping or similar role with high quantity of accounts preferred
- Drug-free and felony-free status with a valid driver’s license
Work Schedule:
- Monday-Friday: 8:30am-5pm
