Accounts Payable Clerk (AP Clerk)

Position Details:
- Location: Full-Time: In the Jackson, MI Corporate Office
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00am.-5:00pm. (Overtime as needed)
- Wage: Starting at $17.50 per hour

Day to Day:
- Reconciliation of financial statements
- Handle confidential information on a regular basis
- Processing of bill payments to vendors and affiliates
- Manage accounts transactions and monthly reporting
- Providing support over the phone and by email for customers and employees
- Resolve administrative issues with customers
- Internet research, create journal entries, document management and retention
- Assist other areas in the company and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 1 year of Accounts Payable experience required
- Accounting software knowledge (QuickBooks, Peachtree, NetSuite, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of general ledger and chart of accounts
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic, integrity, and values
