About the Role JusticeWorks YouthCare is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the daily accounting operations of our multi-state, multi-entity nonprofit organization. This position leads the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions while managing the month-end close process and partnering with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting. Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Five (5) or more years of accounting experience, including supervisory experience.
Experience with month-end close, account reconciliations, and Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable.
Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with payroll systems such as ADP or Paycor preferred.

What You'll Do

Lead the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll functions.
Supervise and develop accounting team members.
Manage the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Oversee vendor payments, billing, cash application, and collections.
Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with internal controls.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting operations.
Support financial audits and collaborate with the Controller on financial reporting.
