Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team in a hybrid position. This role will primarily be responsible for entering and processing checks, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing general support to the Accounting team.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working with numbers, and able to maintain accuracy while handling a high volume of financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter and process checks accurately and efficiently
• Review checks and related documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Maintain accurate records of check transactions and financial information
• Process and record payments in the appropriate accounting systems
• Assist with reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies as needed
• Organize and maintain accounting records and documentation
• Assist with general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
• Communicate with internal departments regarding payment and accounting questions
• Maintain confidentiality when handling financial and company information
• Follow established accounting procedures and company policies

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable working with numbers and financial information
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently while maintaining accuracy

• Previous accounting, accounts payable, or administrative experience preferred
