1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
2. Minimum of three years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries,
month-end close, and general ledge review
3. Working knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, audit preparation, and grant/nonprofit accounting
practices
4. Proficiency with accounting software and Excel
5. Ability to analyze transactions, prepare accurate reports, meet deadlines, communicate
effectively with program staff, and maintain confidentiality
6. Must pass background checks
7. Fluent in English and Spanish (read, write, and speak) desirable. 8. State of Texas vehicle operator’s license and proof of liability insurance, as applicable.
