Accountant II

2. Financial Skills:  Ability to understand and explain financial accounting information, prepare and manage budgets. 
3. Critical Thinking and Analysis:  The ability to assess the authenticity, accuracy and worth of knowledge claims, beliefs, or arguments and reaching sound conclusions based on observation and information.
4. Performance Measurement:  The ability to understand and use statistical, economic, epidemiological and financial methods and metrics to set goals and measure clinical as well as organizational performance; commitment to and employment of evidence-based techniques.
5. Healthcare and Human Services Environments:  Ability to explain issues and advancements in the healthcare and human services industries.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field

2. Minimum of three years of accounting experience, including reconciliations, journal entries,

     month-end close, and general ledge review

3. Working knowledge of GAAP, budgeting, audit preparation, and grant/nonprofit accounting

     practices

4. Proficiency with accounting software and Excel

5. Ability to analyze transactions, prepare accurate reports, meet deadlines, communicate

    effectively with program staff, and maintain confidentiality

6. Must pass background checks
