In this role, you’ll work directly with the company’s strategic finance lead to support the core financial model, analyze unit economics, and answer leadership’s most important growth questions. You’ll partner across Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Care, using SQL, AI tools, dashboards, cohort analysis, and financial modeling to uncover performance drivers and quantify opportunities.

• Help maintain the core financial model and unit economics, including cohort and LTV views as new data matures. 
• Run data-heavy analysis to size opportunities, pressure test experiments, and help leadership understand what is worth pursuing. 
• Investigate performance changes from the funnel down to root cause, bringing structure and rigor to ambiguous business questions. 
• Build dashboards and self-service analytics that help teams across the company answer their own questions. 
• Support long-term corporate development initiatives, including M&A, capital raises, and investor relations.

The Requirements

If this opportunity excites you and you possess the following qualifications, we’d love to hear from you:

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, growth/private equity, or a high-impact role at a startup or technology company. 
• Fluency in cohort and waterfall analysis, ideally in a consumer, monthly retention context. 
• Proficiency in SQL, or the ability to learn quickly, along with genuine enthusiasm for AI tools such as Claude. 
• Strong structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to frame ambiguous issues and work methodically toward root cause. 
• Clear written and verbal communication skills suited to a fully remote work environment.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience in consumer internet, marketplace, subscription, on-demand, or gig economy businesses. 
• Comfort working beyond spreadsheets by combining financial analysis, SQL, dashboards, and AI-enabled workflows.

Reporting to the Strategic Finance Associate, the Strategic Finance Sr. Analyst or Associate will work directly with the company’s strategic finance lead to turn data into actionable business decisions. This role supports Homeaglow’s core financial model and unit economics, runs the analysis behind leadership’s hardest questions, and helps build reporting for long-term corporate development work. 

• Build and maintain the core financial model and unit economics, refreshing cohort and LTV views as new data ages in. 
• Work directly in the data using SQL and AI tooling. 
• Run ad-hoc, data-heavy analysis to size opportunities and pressure test experiments. 
• Investigate why performance moves, working each question methodically from the funnel down to root cause. 
• Build dashboards and self-service analytics that empower teams across the company to answer their own questions. 
• Partner across Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Care to convert open questions into quantified recommendations. 
• Support long-term corporate development initiatives, including M&A, capital raises, and investor relations. 
• Bring curiosity, precision, and disciplined thinking to a fast-moving environment where ownership and impact define the culture.
