About the Role

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and management reporting.
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Analyze financial data, research variances, and identify trends.
• Support external audits and prepare audit schedules.
• Assist with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet accounts.
• Partner with teams across the organization to support accurate financial reporting.
• Contribute to process improvements and other projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience supporting month-end close processes.
• Experience working within an ERP or accounting system.

Preferred Qualifications

• Public accounting experience.
• CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification.
• Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or subscription-based organizations.
• Experience supporting audits and compliance initiatives.

Technical Skills

• NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, formulas)
• Financial reporting and reconciliation tools
• Revenue recognition and subscription billing platforms
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Data analysis and reporting tools

Travel

Up to 10% travel, based on business needs. While our roles are 100% remote, we do get together a few times a year for up to one week. Employees are given ample notice and attendance is expected.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a remote work environment and requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while performing work at a desk or workstation. The employee must be able to operate standard office equipment, including a computer, keyboard, mouse, webcam, and telephone. The role also requires the ability to occasionally move throughout a workspace to access files, office equipment, and work-related materials. Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential for interacting with employees, clients, and stakeholders.

Pay Transparency Statement

Staritas posts compensation ranges and benefits for all open roles. The base compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package. Compensation offered will depend on factors including experience, skills, geographic location, and internal equity.
