Sr. Staff Accountant

We are looking for an experienced SR Staff Accountant to be a key owner and resource for all accounting functions. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability and financial reporting, as well as financial profitability analysis and other special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting and forecast process
• Lead periodic forecast revisions
• Lead month-end and year-end close process in coordination with Corporate Accounting
• Review, update, monitor enforce internal controls to protect company assets and ensure regulatory compliance
• Prepare monthly KPI reporting along with supporting documents
• Ensure Intercompany is properly recorded and eliminated at the consolidated level
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations monthly
• Lead year end audits
• Review financial statements and provide commentary on any unusual trends
• Ensure accounting adheres to GAAP
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• 5-10 years yrs. of accounting and analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5 yrs. experience working in SAP and/or Global Shop Solutions
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and cost accounting
• 4 year degree required Accounting or Finance with an advanced degree and certification desired.
• Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI required
• Experience with general leger functions and month end/year end close process
• Extensive financial analysis of monthly results compared to budget, forecast, prior month and ability to clearly articulate findings. 
• Deep understanding of cost accounting as it relates to manufacturing.

The pay for this position is dependent upon experience, between $76,650.00 and $103,530.00.
