The Role The Senior Financial Analyst - Consumer Products Consolidation, is responsible for timely and accurate forecasting, reporting and analysis for Warner Bros., acting as a Finance Business Partner with Finance Leadership, Controllership, and business stakeholders to provide accurate financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. He is expected to independently manage complex financial processes, challenge assumptions, influence business partners, and drive automation and process optimization initiatives. Specific responsibilities include: • Reconcile actuals vs prior forecast/budget/prior year and provide variance analysis to explain performance. • Partner with FP&A Business Strategy teams to manage cost center budgets, analyze forecast variances, and assess the financial impact for business decisions. • Manage Ad Hoc analysis and financial data requests as needed, generating insights • Review and prepare journal entries as needed. Basic accounting knowledge required to perform the task. • Support month-end and quarter-end close activities by ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial results. • Demonstrate and maintain high standards of accountability to deliver superior quality financial information on timely basis to business FP&A. • Build strong relationships with extended teams to enable the flow of information and knowledge sharing. • Ability to lead discussions and challenge assumptions constructively. • Support development of systems, tools, and processes to facilitate efficient and accurate forecasting and analysis. • Drive meaningful process improvements and automation. Collaborate across boundaries and share best practices with other FP&A teams. Basic qualifications • At least 3-4 years’ experience in forecasting, reporting and analysis. • Strong English verbal and written communication skills • Strong proficiency in excel and other data analysis techniques. Demonstrated experience in financial modelling. • Critical thinker and strong problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to frame issues, articulate findings and present optimal solutions. • Proven ability to build confidence and trust with department members and external business partners. • Experience working accurately and efficiently with high volumes of data under strict deadlines. • Motivated by challenging, high-energy environment. • Strong working knowledge of financial software packages and Microsoft Office suite. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economy and Accounting preferred Preferred Qualifications • FP&A experience highly desirable • Knowledge of financial software packages SAP, Power Platform (Power BI, Query, Tableau, etc) How We Get Things Done… This last bit is probably the most important!
