We are growing our Audit & Business Advisory Department in RBK and are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Senior Audit Manager to join our expanding team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audit Manager looking to take the next step in their career, or a Senior Manager looking for a role offering greater responsibility, client exposure and opportunities for progression.

This is a broad role that goes beyond traditional audit. Working across a Midlands-based client portfolio, you will lead a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and subsidiaries of multinational organisations, while providing a combination of audit, business advisory and value-added services.

You will take a senior role in the continued growth and development of the department, working closely with Partners and the wider team to develop client relationships, identify opportunities to support clients in new ways, develop new sectors and contribute to the growth of the portfolio. You will also have significant responsibility for the leadership and development of the Audit team.

Key Responsibilities

·       Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing the delivery of high-quality Audit, business advisory and value-added services from planning through to completion.

·       Act as a senior point of contact and trusted advisor to clients, developing strong long-term relationships and understanding their wider business needs.

·       Prepare and present Audit findings and reports to management and Boards, providing insight, recommendations and commercially focused advice.

·       Identify opportunities to deliver additional value to clients, working collaboratively with other specialist departments across the business.

·       Contribute to the growth of the department and development of new sectors, identifying opportunities to expand the client portfolio and strengthen market presence.

·       Provide strong leadership to the Audit team, coaching and developing Managers, Seniors and Trainees and supporting the continued growth of the department.

·       Take responsibility for the quality, efficiency and delivery of Audit assignments, ensuring high professional and technical standards are maintained.

·       Support Partners with the strategic development of the department, contributing ideas and initiatives that support its continued growth.

Key Competencies

·       Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in an Audit Manager or equivalent management position.

·       Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles, with significant experience managing a diverse portfolio of clients.

·       Strong commercial awareness, with an ability to understand clients' businesses and identify opportunities to provide advisory and value-added services.

·       Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to develop and motivate teams and support the progression of others.

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior management and Boards and build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders.

·       Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

·       A proactive, ambitious and commercially minded approach, with the drive to contribute to the growth and development of the department.
