We are growing our Audit & Business Advisory Department in RBK and are looking for an ambitious and commercially minded Audit Manager to join our expanding team.

This is a broad role that goes beyond traditional audit. Working across a Midlands based client portfolio, you will manage a diverse range of clients, including owner-managed businesses, SMEs and subsidiaries of multinational organisations, while providing a combination of audit, business advisory and value-added services.

You will play an important role in the continued growth of the department, working closely with Partners and the wider team to develop existing client relationships, identify opportunities to support clients in new ways, develop new sectors and grow the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage and develop a diverse portfolio of clients, providing high-quality audit from planning through to completion, business advisory and value-added services.

·       Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted point of contact and understanding their wider business needs.

·       Identify opportunities to deliver additional value to clients through advisory services and collaboration with other areas of the business.

·       Work closely with the Partner and wider team to develop the existing portfolio and identify opportunities to grow new sectors and client relationships.

·       Help develop and strengthen the existing team as the department continues to grow.

·       Work collaboratively with other departments to deliver integrated solutions for clients.

Key Competencies

·       Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with 2+ years' post-qualified experience.

·       Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit principles, with experience managing a portfolio of clients.

·       Strong commercial awareness and an interest in business advisory and business development.

·       Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on developing others.

·       Strong organisational, analytical and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail.

·       A proactive and ambitious approach, with the ability to build strong client relationships and contribute to the growth and development of the department.
