ProspectBlue is partnering with a growing company in Richmond, VA to find a Senior Accountant to join their team! If you're looking for a role where you can make an impact, collaborate with leadership, and continue growing your accounting career, I'd love to connect.In this role, you'll:✔️ Support the month-end close process and daily accounting operations✔️ Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports✔️ Assist with consolidated financial statements and annual audits (US GAAP)✔️ Support job cost accounting, reporting, and intercompany transactions✔️ Partner with leadership on management reporting and process improvements✔️ Help oversee key accounting functions, including AP, AR, fixed assets, and capital expendituresWhat they're looking for:🔹 Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance🔹 3-5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a Senior Accountant role🔹 Experience in a mid-market field services or industrial environment is a plus🔹 Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles🔹 Advanced Excel skills🔹 Someone who is proactive, organized, adaptable, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
