About The Role 

What You’ll Do Fitler Club is hiring for a Senior Accountant to manage our month end close process, involving revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, and collection & communication of Accounts Receivable. This is a full time position, with the expectation that the candidate will be in office five days a week. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with strong analytical skills who collaborates effectively both independently and within a team structure. Adaptability, efficient time management, adherence to strict deadlines, and exceptional attention to detail are essential for success in this role. 

What You'll Do:

?  Support the month-end close cycle through revenue recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and P&L analysis. 

? Maintain and communicate revenue tracking models, keeping department heads informed of financial trends and trajectory. 

? Bi-weekly booking of payroll, as well as aiding in tip reconciliations. 

? Assist with annual budget development by equipping leadership with essential financial insights and ongoing guidance. 

? Process, record, and reconcile incoming payments for membership, hotel, and private events. 

? Address billing inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally via email, phone, or in person. 

? Partner with department managers to resolve member dispute items. 

? Keep the Controller updated on delinquent accounts and issue formal past-due notices. 

? Manage the tracking, issuance, and redemption of Gift Certificates and Club Credit Books. 

? Collaborate with executive management to identify opportunities for operational improvements and performance optimization. ? Uphold Club governance, policies, and confidentiality standards when handling sensitive financial data. 

Qualifications & Requirements  

?  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. 

? 4-6 years of accounting or finance experience. 

? Background in hospitality or service-oriented industries strongly preferred. 

? Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable or member billing workflows strongly preferred. 

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies 

? Comprehensive understanding of GAAP principles and financial statement preparation. 

? Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. 

? Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with high attention to detail. 

? Self-motivated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 

? Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating across all organizational levels.
