Senior Accountant

They work closely as an integrated team to accomplish the goals at hand. They're currently in a growth mode where they're bringing on new practices and involved in creating new reporting structures.

• Working closely with entity Finance management in day to day operations, the Senior Accountant will be involved in all aspects of both the monthly close and annual budget process
• Preparing and reviewing journal entries
• Account analysis,
• Variance reporting and reconciliations
• Budget development and forecasting
• Patient revenue streams (fee for service, capitated and value based) and related statistical components
• Accounts receivable valuation
• Physician compensation models, malpractice, and practice operational expenses

• Bachelor's degree Accounting and 7+ years related progressive experience in Physician Practice or Hospital setting
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel and Access
• Extensive experience using database programs for extraction of patient billing data
• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities
• Demonstrated proficiency to manage complex data sets
• Demonstrated customer service skills
• Demonstrated interpersonal/verbal communication skills
• Ability to express technical information clearly and simply to non-technical persons
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel to physician practice and hospital locations
