Position Summary
Reporting to the Finance Director, this position (Sr Accountant) assists in the preparation of financial statements, journal entries and supporting documentation related to Cash/treasury transactions and Medicare deliverables to the State of AZ. This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, preparing regulatory reports, recording detailed transactions, analyzing variances in the general ledger, and reconciling cash and balance sheet accounts. Incumbent will cross-train to support various accounting and finance functions.


Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:


Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting or finance department or public accounting experience.


Preferred Qualifications
Healthcare experience

Education
Bachelor's Degree in Business is required with a concentration in Accounting or Finance preferred.
