Sales Finance Manager - Target

Manager, Commercial Finance, Target 

This role is the finance lead for the Target DSD and warehouse businesses within PepsiCo Beverages North America.

Sitting on the Target commercial finance team, this person is the primary financial partner to Target-facing sales and RGM leadership, owning the P&L, the annual operating plan, and the deal architecture for a portfolio that represents a significant share of PBNA's customer net revenue.

This is a high-visibility seat with regular exposure to VP and SVP level stakeholders across sales, RGM, and finance.

Responsibilities

• Own the Target DSD and warehouse P&L, including annual operating plan, forecast, and period close, with clear articulation of variances and risks and opportunities
• Serve as lead finance partner to Target sales and RGM leadership on customer negotiations, joint business planning, and annual contract terms
• Build and defend the financial case for customer deals, including trade investment, pricing architecture, growth incentives, and delist avoidance scenarios
• Lead the finance workstream for the Gatorade and Propel DSD to warehouse transition, covering transition costs, bottler buyout economics, and post-transition margin and mix
• Develop POS and shipment based analytics using Circana and internal data to link investment to volume, share, and profit outcomes
• Prepare and present recommendations to senior leadership, including materials supporting approval of multi-million dollar investment decisions
• Partner with supply chain finance, RGM, and control on cost, mix, and margin drivers
• Identify and drive productivity and profit improvement opportunities across the customer P&L

Compensation and Benefits:

• The expected compensation range for this position is between $110,700 - $185,250.

• Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 6 or more years of progressive finance experience, with demonstrated ownership of a P&L, forecast, or planning process
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including scenario and sensitivity analysis
• Proven ability to influence and business partner with non-finance stakeholders at director level and above
• Advanced Excel, and experience with enterprise planning and reporting systems
• Ability to translate complex analysis into a clear recommendation for senior audiences
• This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States

Preferred

• CPG or consumer products experience, ideally in a customer facing or commercial finance role
• Familiarity with national retail customers and retailer specific economics
• Experience with syndicated data such as Circana 
• Exposure to trade promotion management, RGM, or pricing
• Experience supporting a route to market or distribution model change
• MBA or CPA
