Procurement Manager

Procurement Strategy & Leadership- Develop and execute the procurement strategy for Sika Korea. Drive cost reduction, supply security, and risk management initiatives. Promote procurement governance and best practices across the organization Performance Management Lead purchasing operations and ensure efficient execution of end-to-end procurement processes, including PR, PO, invoice and payment coordination. Identify and resolve operational issues across the procurement process through close collaboration with suppliers, Finance, Shared Services, and internal stakeholders. Deliver annual savings and productivity targets. Track and improve procurement KPIs, supplier performance, purchasing process efficiency, and working capital metrics. Provide market intelligence and procurement reporting to local and regional management. Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management Lead sourcing activities for raw materials, packaging, CAPEX, indirect spend, logistics, and services. Manage supplier selection, qualification, contract negotiations, and performance evaluation. Develop strategic supplier partnerships and identify localization opportunities. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, R&D, Quality, and Commercial teams. Support new product introductions, plant projects, and business growth initiatives. Act as the key procurement interface between local, regional, and global teams. Compliance & Sustainability Ensure compliance with Sika policies, code of conduct, and applicable regulations. Support implementation of sustainability and ESG initiatives within the supply base. Maintain transparent and ethical procurement practices. Experience Procurement management experience in manufacturing, chemical, automotive, industrial, or construction-related industries. Bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical or commercial is required Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost management. Experience in a multinational environment preferred. Team leadership experience is an advantage. Skills Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Strategic mindset with strong analytical capabilities. Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration. Fluent Korean and business English. Lead the procurement business of Sika Korea directly reporting to the Head of Procurement and Supply Chain, Korea and functional reporting to APAC Area Procurement Manager.
