Procurement Analyst (Remote)

HEPCO is seeking a Procurement Analyst to support our client’s utility procurement operations. This role focuses on equipment and materials for substation, transmission, distribution, and stock projects. Candidates must live within commuting distance of the office and be available to pick up items there when needed. 

• Manage procurement activities from planning and bid packages through bid evaluation, negotiation, contract award, and administration.
• Partner with business teams on proposals and equipment needs, conduct pre-bid meetings, and manage multiple bids at once.
• Draft and issue contracts, amendments, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Negotiate commercial terms and conditions, redline documents, and work with Legal and subject-matter experts to resolve issues.
• Manage supplier relationships, contractual commitments, claims, and back-charges.
• Maintain compliance with procurement policies and identify process improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of procurement experience, including negotiation, contract administration, and working with contractors.
• Experience sourcing equipment or materials. Utility industry and construction procurement experience are preferred. This is not an IT procurement role.
• High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
• SAP and Ariba preferred
• Power Advocate / McKinsey preferred
• IronClad (contracts platform) preferred

Pay Range: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
