    Position Summary: Good communications skills; confidentiality and attention to detail is a must.   Proficiency in Excel, computer processing, and mathematical skills.  Exhibits the ability to proactively set priorities, maintain standards, and resolve problems. Serve as a role model, promoting positive behavior, integrity, and responsibility.

    Reports To: Financial Manager

    Compensation: Commensurate with Experience and Qualifications

    Work Calendar: 260 Days

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Distributes time and attendance registers
    • Audits Timesheets
    • Inputs timesheets  with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Processes bi-weekly payroll preparing manual checks when necessary.
    • Processes State and Federal tax payments on a timely basis.
    • Maintain compliance with all requirements and deadlines for pension payments
    • Tracks and maintains days and years of experience of employees
    • Annual letters of assurance to classified staff
    • Assists with new hires and Human Resources when needed.
    • Coordinates with Deputy Treasurer on employee deduction payments.
    • Prepares Teacher/ECA/Admin Contracts.
    • Maintains and submits EARN reimbursements for Work Based Learning Students
    • Detail-oriented work habits with strong organization skills
    • Experience with Boyce Systems (Boyce Cloud)platforms is preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of Red Rover Attendance System
    • Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills,  handling sensitive information with strict confidentiality and discretion.
    • Screen phone calls and inquiries when needed
    • Assist with receiving visitors at Central Office and directing visitors as appropriate.
    • The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substances abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the corporation.
    • Performs other tasks as assigned by financial manager and other administrative staff as designated by the superintendent

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted
    • Experience with PC systems
    • Clerical and customer service experience preferred
