The Payroll Specialist will support the Payroll Manager in reviewing timecard data for accuracy while working with the HR Leadership team to ensure timely payroll processing. This role will be a member of the Workforce Systems & Payroll team with the opportunity to work in a hybrid or remote work arrangement. The ideal candidate will have current experience working with Workday Payroll and ADP. systems 

In this role, the essential functions include the following:

• Reviews timecard data prior to payroll submission, investigates root cause of errors, and ensures accuracy of the data
• Works with other members on the HR team to ensure a smooth payroll cycle and timely transactions
• Works with third party payroll provider, ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., taxes, payment upon terminations, deductions, etc.)
• Compiles periodic reports for payroll, worker’s compensation, and special management requests
• Interacts and communicates at all levels of the Company
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resources files and record

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience including an understanding of multi-state payroll
• Proficiency with Excel and experience with Workday Payroll
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in related field
• Experience with NetSuite

The good faith base salary rangefor this role is $60,000–$70,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
