What You'll Do:
- Process mail on a daily basis.
- Answer phones and assist employees with inquiries.
- File and scan records into an electronic format.
- Process and pay garnishments in a timely manner.
- Assist with writing payroll procedures as requested.
What We're Looking For:
Required Education, Experience and/or Abilities
- A high school diploma with one (1) year of payroll experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Ability to use standard office equipment, including a ten-key by touch, copier, fax machine, check signing machine, shredder and bursting machine.
- Knowledge of ADP.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- English language fluency, verbal and written.
- Acceptable results of a pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol test.
