About the role
Run accurate, on-time payroll for our 400 hourly and salaried employees across five states.
What you will do
- Process biweekly multi-state payroll for hourly and salaried employees
- Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and resolve variances
- Manage garnishments, deductions and payroll tax filings
- Support year-end W-2 processing and audits
- Answer employee pay questions quickly and accurately
What you bring
- 3+ years processing multi-state payroll
- Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now or a similar system
- Strong Excel skills, including lookups and pivot tables
- Working knowledge of federal and state payroll tax rules
- High attention to detail and confidentiality
Nice to have
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or FPC
- Experience with timekeeping integrations
- Experience in a high-volume hourly environment
Location: Chicago, IL (hybrid, 3 days in office)
Pay range: USD 62,000 - 78,000 per year.
