Payroll Specialist  Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Located at Admin Annex Building in Lima, Ohio  (This is not a remote position)   Join Our Team as a Payroll Specialist! Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional who takes pride in accuracy and exceptional customer service? Health Partners of Western Ohio is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team at the Admin Annex Building. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting payroll operations, benefits administration, and employee inquiries.   Working closely with the Payroll Team Leader, you'll process biweekly payroll, audit timecards, maintain payroll records, administer deductions and benefits, and collaborate across departments to ensure efficient payroll processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with payroll experience who enjoys problem-solving, working with data, and contributing to a mission-driven healthcare organization.   BENEFIT OFFERED:   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES: QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:       Associate’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or a similar field preferred. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:              Successful completion of in-house training. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:              3 to 5 years of payroll experience is required. SKILLS/ABILITIES:   WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is primarily sedentary, demanding sitting, walking, lifting, and bending. Those physical movements and the degree of mobility, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination commonly associated with duties in an office setting will be performed repetitively. This also includes bending, twisting, reaching, lifting, pulling, pushing, and walking. The ability to distinguish letters and symbols and utilize telephones, computer terminals, fax machines, and copiers is required.
