Supervisor: Accounting Manager
Job Summary: Performs a variety of functions in the preparation, processing, maintenance, verification, and reconciliation of driver payroll.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, update, and reconcile payroll data as needed.
- Enter information into driver payroll software.
- Research, analyze, and record payroll discrepancies and process appropriate corrections.
- Manage driver reimbursements through payroll.
- Verify the accuracy of employee changes, including pay increases.
- Determine if payroll data complies with legally mandated and company policies.
- Attend workshops and trainings as directed.
- Assist with various driver payroll tasks as they develop.
- Maintain PTO balances for accurate reporting
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Detail oriented, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to work with discretion and maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to be flexible in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
- Must have excellent computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.
- Ability to recognize and respond to unsafe working conditions.
Special Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Associate Degree or minimum 3 years relevant experience.
- Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by Manager.
