Job Title: Payroll Administrator

Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team.
Position Description:
- Process accurate and timely semi-monthly payroll for 400+ employees
- Manage payroll across seven divisions and two legal entities
- Support both unionized and non-unionized payroll, including two daycare collective agreements
- Manage payroll changes including new hires, promotions, salary increases, incentives, leaves, and terminations
- Review timesheets and payroll data for accuracy and authorization
- Prepare reconciliations, payroll registers, reports, and supporting documentation
- Process ROEs and support year-end activities, including T4s
- Partner closely with HR and serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers
- Support audits, reporting, and Finance requirements
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and strengthen our use of Dayforce
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll experience
- Hands-on Ceridian Dayforce Payroll experience — required
- Experience supporting a large or complex employee population
- Union and non-union payroll experience is a strong asset
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, compliance, and year-end requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
