Mobile, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll / Processing / Administrative Assistant to support payroll and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will be polished, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment with daily and weekly deadlines.
Essential Duties
- Support payroll processing and administrative functions in a PEO environment
- Enter, review, and verify payroll and employee information accurately
- Work in Excel to sort, organize, and process large spreadsheets and payroll-related data
- Communicate professionally with clients and employees regarding payroll and administrative matters
- Assist with meeting daily and weekly processing deadlines
- Manage multiple tasks while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Take detailed notes during training and follow established processes
- Provide general administrative and customer service support as needed
Requirements / Skills
- Previous payroll experience is preferred, but not required
- Strong data entry and administrative experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong Excel skills, including working with large spreadsheets, sorting data, and using basic formulas
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with a polished, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to learn quickly and follow processes accurately
