Key Responsibilities
- Run payroll, including timekeeping-related responsibilities
- Update and post transactions to the general ledger
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Handle sales and use tax compliance
- Assist with routine bookkeeping and accounting activities
- Support the company’s planned transition from an older version of Sage to QuickBooks Online
- Solid hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Firm understanding of basic debits and credits
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Dependable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to pitch in where needed
- Ability to work independently with limited day-to-day supervision
