Client Accounting & Advisory Services Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina Work Arrangement: Remote Employment Type: Full-Time, Independent Contractor Compensation: USD 1,400–1,900/month Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm EST About Convoy Finance We like working with people who move fast, think for themselves, and care about doing great work. That’s pretty much how we run Convoy. We’re a small finance and accounting firm working with technology, SaaS, fintech and Web3 companies across Canada and internationally. Our clients are ambitious businesses, and we work directly with the founders and finance teams building them. That means you won’t just be entering numbers into spreadsheets all day. You’ll get exposure to real businesses, real accounting challenges and the people making decisions behind them. We’re a small team, too. Most of us are based in Toronto, with a few people working remotely around the world. There’s very little bureaucracy, decisions happen quickly, and good ideas can actually turn into action. The Opportunity We’re looking for a Junior Accountant who wants to build strong accounting fundamentals while getting hands-on experience with growing international companies. You’ll support accounting work across a portfolio of clients, working alongside experienced accountants and gaining exposure to international clients, founders, CFOs and finance teams . You’ll help keep the numbers accurate and the books organized, but we also want you to understand why the numbers matter . If something doesn’t look right, we want you to ask questions, investigate and learn. This is a great opportunity for someone who is early in their accounting career and wants more than a traditional back-office role. You’ll learn by doing, take on more responsibility over time and get exposure to different businesses, systems and accounting challenges. What You’ll Do You’ll support the team with: Bookkeeping and day-to-day accounting , including AP/AR, journal entries and account reconciliations Assisting with month-end close and maintaining accurate client books Preparing schedules and supporting financial statements and management reporting Reviewing transactions and identifying discrepancies or items that need attention Supporting year-end compilations, audits, reviews and tax-related work Helping maintain organized and up-to-date client records Communicating with the team and, as you grow, working directly with clients on accounting questions Helping improve processes, systems and workflows Supporting ad hoc accounting and finance projects as they come up Requirements What We’re Looking For You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field , or are currently completing one, and have 2–3+ years of relevant accounting experience . You have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and are comfortable working with numbers, spreadsheets and accounting systems. You’re organized, detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines without losing sight of the details. You’re comfortable communicating in English , both in writing and verbally, and you’re willing to ask questions when something isn’t clear. Most importantly, you’re curious and eager to learn . If something doesn’t make sense, you don’t just move on: you try to understand why. Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero is a plus. Experience in public accounting, audit, tax, SaaS, technology, fintech or Web3 is also a plus. Benefits Why Convoy? You’ll work with interesting companies, smart people and problems that don’t always come with an instruction manual. You’ll get hands-on exposure to international businesses and experienced finance professionals, while building the technical skills and judgment that will help you grow as an accountant. Because we’re a small team, your work is visible and your learning curve can be steep. You won’t be stuck doing the same task forever. We’re remote-friendly, with team members working from Toronto and different parts of the world. We also make time for team lunches, happy hours and, when the numbers are good, the occasional team trip. It’s fast-paced. It’s challenging. And it’s definitely not boring. If you want to build your accounting career, keep learning and get real exposure to international clients , we’d like to hear from you. Compensation USD 1,400–1,900 per month , depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time independent contractor position . How to Apply Send us your resume and a brief overview of your experience. We’d love to hear from you.
