Interim Senior Accountant/Bookkeeper

Responsibilities
- Set up and onboard new clients in QuickBooks Online and Bill.com
- Review prior-year tax returns and establish client accounting records based on tax return data
- Download, categorize, and import credit card transactions into QuickBooks Online
- Review investment statements and establish investment account activity within QuickBooks
- Analyze mortgage statements and accurately set up related accounts and transactions in QuickBooks
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with additional bookkeeping and accounting projects as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online
- Experience using Bill.com (Bill)
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Experience with investment accounts, mortgage accounting, and financial statement review is a plus
