Main Responsibilities / Activities

The Industrial Controller reports directly to the North America CMS Finance Director.  This position is responsible for all activities related to margin analysis and reporting, manufacturing variance reporting & reconciliation, and standard costing analysis.

Financial Software, Developing Standards, Audit, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Tracking Budget Expenses, Financial Skills, Analyzing Information. Good at organizing and time management. Strong organizational, analytical and interpersonal skills, Strong verbal and written communication skills, Self-motivated to learn new concepts and participate in new projects. Mfg/cost accounting experience.

Basic Requirements

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Review, research and correct costing issues in coordination with Operations
• Perform weekly cost runs and error research and resolution
• Conduct weekly project cost review meetings with key management personnel and identify opportunities for change order management, cost saving initiatives and improvement in future project cost estimates
• Perform weekly cost runs and error research and resolution
• Monitor, control and approve post shipment expenses for cost to complete & warranty
• Perform monthly manufacturing variance reconciliation during month end close process
• Annual review and setting of standard labor rates
• Maintain WBS structure in SAP and revise as necessary

Education/Experience:

• Manufacturing experience with exposure to ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Standard Cost Analysis,
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related experience
• 5+  years’ experience
