Full Charge Bookkeeper

FULL CHARGE BOOKKEEPER

• 25 to 35 hours per week
• Hourly pay range 30.00-40.00

We are an independent Tire and Automotive Service seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. This role is essential in keeping our financials accurate and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare month-end closing reports
• Process Payroll and assist with benefit tracking (experience with ADP a plus)
• Track Inventory-related financials
• Prepare financial reports such as balance sheet and income statements, assist with budgeting, and provide reporting to management
• Work closely with external CPA for tax preparation and year end filings
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
• Other duties upon request to maintain office

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience (automotive industry a plus)
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks
• Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting
• Strong attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to meet deadlines
• Integrity, reliability, and ability to handle confidential information
