Patterson Companies is looking for a Financial Analyst to provide customer facing reporting and business analysis for our Strategic Accounts Division. The ideal candidate will have a strong excel background, attention to detail and a proven track record for delivering reporting and analysis within a financial environment.
Major Duties
- Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and evolving work environment
- Navigate complex systems and data independently with minimal training
- Produce sales and operational reports for internal stakeholders and external customers
- Gather, analyze, and develop reports using SAP, MicroStrategy, and business intelligence tools
- Interpret operating metrics and connect financial performance to business strategy
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights to support decision-making
- Serve as the primary contact for ad hoc reporting requests
- Track and calculate customer rebates on a quarterly and annual basis
- Prepare financial reporting packages for customer business reviews
- Document reporting processes to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business or related field
- 2+ years of work experience in related field or business
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Applications, specifically advanced Excel skills, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to develop reports in multiple environments (i.e., SAP, MicroStrategy, Business Intelligence tools)
- Proven ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization
- Understanding of business process and experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge with the rest of the team
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems in complex systems with little supervision
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Adapts to changing priorities and manages deadlines
