Finance is essential to upholding our global commitment to excellence, and it directly shapes the company"s future.We"re seeking a passionate and resourceful individual for a key role supporting the Carrier RTM (Route-to-Market) organization within Sales Finance in Japan. Partnering with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and other Finance teams, you"ll oversee the performance of Apple"s products and services, advising business partners on how to sustainably drive revenue and margin growth.\\n\\nYou"ll be an integral partner to the Sales team, helping build and run critical business initiatives — taking ownership of open-ended problems and knowing when to work through them independently versus bring in the right partners. You"ll also collaborate extensively with Apple"s functional, geo, and Worldwide teams to connect local execution in Japan with the company"s broader strategy and goals.Business Insight \u0026 Performance: Track industry trends, carrier pricing and program dynamics, and local market conditions, translating data into actionable recommendations that inform sales strategy. Actively participate in the unit forecast process, spotting and executing key sales actions to capture opportunities and mitigate risk.\\nInvestment Strategy \u0026 ROI: Collaborate with sales leaders to build and execute investment strategies — including demand generation, partner margins, and fixture investments — ensuring investments meet rigorous financial metrics. Own the estimation and analysis of ROI, and manage governance including quarter-end spend, accruals, and compensation plans.\\nGlobal Alignment: Build strong relationships with Worldwide Sales Finance, sharing geo-specific market insight, championing geo-led proposals, and contributing to global Sales Finance processes and tools.\\nOperational Excellence: Partner with Sales Operations and Global Business Solutions to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of financial processes, including sales incentive calculations, performance reporting, and partner payouts.\\nStrategic Initiatives \u0026 Business Reviews: Assemble financial analysis and contribute to quarterly and annual business reviews with Sales leadership. Lead key finance projects end-to-end — including Worldwide-driven initiatives such as process streamlining — coordinating across local and regional stakeholders to bring them to successful completion with sound judgment on when to escalate versus proceed.Bachelor"s degree in Business, Finance, or another relevant quantitative field.\\n8+ years of progressive corporate finance experience, directly supporting business partners; people leadership experience is a plus.\\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience building business models and forecasts from complex, incomplete, or evolving data.\\nSound judgment for navigating unclear situations, including knowing when to proceed independently versus involve the right stakeholders.\\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial analysis clearly and persuasively to varied audiences.\\nProficiency in spoken and written English, and business-level Japanese.\\nProficiency in Excel and standard business tools (e.g., Keynote, Business Objects, Slack).MBA or other relevant advanced degree.\\nFamiliarity with SQL, Tableau, Python, or similar tools, with the ability to use them to streamline reporting.\\nStrong intellectual curiosity, with a track record of digging into issues to understand root causes rather than surface symptoms.\\nExperience contributing to or leading process improvements, with an eye toward simplifying or scaling existing workflows.
