Job Title: Financial Analyst I

Location: Houston, TX

Pay Rate: $40.00 - $48.00/hr

Duration: 12+ Month Contract 

Work Mode: Hybrid (Monday and Friday remote)

Summary:

• This is a contract role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide financial and pricing analysis, including routine customer price adjustment calculations and maintaining pricing formulas.
• Support billing and contract administration by ensuring invoice accuracy and processing contract updates.
• Produce standardized sales reports and track account metrics.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation tools to streamline tasks.
• Maintain and update database management systems (DBMS) and SAP.
• Support Power BI by maintaining, refreshing, and updating dashboards and reporting models.

Requirements:

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (complex formulas, Index/Match, XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query).
• Intermediate experience with Power BI and ability to refresh data connections and modify reports.
• Intermediate working knowledge of DBMS, basic SQL queries, and SAP navigation.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools and willingness to explore workflow optimization applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, finance operations, or data management.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with basic VBA is a plus.
• Proficiency in using Gemini for reporting and data automation.
• Experience creating and managing automated workflows in Google Workspace Studio.
