Finance Manager, Productivity, AWS SMGS Ops Finance

As a Finance Manager, you'll partner with sales and finance leaders to develop business strategies, financial models, and analytical insights. This role requires problem-solving to navigate ambiguous projects where you and your team will define the problem space, establish frameworks, and create structure from complexity. Individually, you'll manage a portfolio focused on customer growth trends, productivity measures, and resource planning improvements, while helping build best-in-class finance practices across AWS. Success in this role includes –• Leading strategic financial analyses for key business initiatives and investments• Coordinating revenue planning with Sales, Marketing, and support teams• Managing sales organization productivity measurements• Integrating GenAI into sales financial planning and analysis processesThe ideal candidate is confident in working with open-ended business cases and can manage the case from hypothesis definition, through analytical insight and recommendation. You must support decision-making in fast-paced environments with strong data discovery skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects autonomously. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for executive and cross-functional interactions.- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 5+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience- MBA, or CPA- Knowledge of SQL/ETL- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of resultsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
