The eero team is looking for a Finance Manager to support eero’s subscription business. As a Finance Manager in this role, you will help define the business strategy for eero, implement process improvements, and drive alignment on financial goals for the subscription business. You will own the subscription forecast for annual Operating Plans (OP1,OP2), Quarterly Guidances, and flag financial Risks and Opportunities (R&O). The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, analytical, and curious with demonstrated ability to dive deep to understand the story behind the numbers.Key job responsibilities- Lead the quarterly and yearly forecasting process for subscription revenue, gross profit, and ARR by working closely with sales and product business partners.- Evaluate health of key subscription metrics (active networks, attach rates, churn rate) by customer and cohort to proactively identify risks and growth opportunities for the subscription business- Participate in deal negotiations with new ISP customers on hardware and software pricing terms- Be an integral part of the monthly financial close process by performing variance analysis and providing relevant insights to senior management. Identify potential risks and opportunities and make adjustments to the forecast- Work actively with your business partners to determine their reporting needs and support their growth initiatives- Provide financial support for ad hoc business analyses related to subscription business and prepare periodic reporting activities to Devices and Corp FP&A- 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience- 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience- 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field- Experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results- MBA, or CPA- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)- Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions- Knowledge of of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift)- Experience in commercial finance business partnering or FP&A (at a multinational organisation), including influencing senior business partners and challenging assumptionsAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
