Essential Functions:
- Provide for recording, analyzing, interpreting and reporting of all financial related information for the Research and Development and Group Engineering functions located in the Northwood facility in accordance with IFRS Standards.
- Perform month end closing requirements at a local level. Coordinate with closing efforts at a corporate level. Perform account analysis to ensure integrity of financial data as reported in the general ledger and on financial statements.
- Record and report on various Project spend detail monthly to the Global Group function for Research and Development. Invoice bi-annually on NA Research and Development cost to appropriate internal entities.
- Track, report and support invoicing for New Model Tooling and Project Spend – including ensuring IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts with Customers) accounting requirements for Capital, Contract Assets and Liabilities, WIN payments, ensuring properly recording of assets and spend in various required tracking systems and reports.
- Ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition, including identification of performance obligations, transaction price allocation, and timing of revenue recognition.
- Manage Expenses and spending at the Northwood facility to align to budget, ensuring proper invoice and contract approvals, timing of expenses and reviewing and resolving of any AP differences preventing proper payment to Vendors.
- Develop and maintain a system of internal controls that adequately safeguard company assets and that minimize the chance of recording erroneous financial information. This includes performing Blackline reconciliations and tasks according to their required timing (monthly/quarterly/annually).
- Perform complex account reconciliations, cross-business unit account and expense allocations, and other accounting duties as assigned to support the closing process, finance reporting, and Accounting Support for the NA Finance Region and Group Functions.

Qualifications Required:
- BS/BA in Finance/Accounting, related field or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of Finance ERP Experience, including inherent knowledge of IFRS, with focus on IFRS15 requirements and application.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer and analytical skills – including all modules of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Qualifications Desired:
- SAP Expertise in Finance Modules.
- Experience in Project Management including SAP Project System Module.
- Advanced Business or Finance Degree.
