Finance Manager, Amazon Devices

Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to be a key member in our Devices Finance team. This role will have heavy impact and high visibility to essential, business-critical processes, and will require close partnership with Operations and Product Management Finance. Develop, maintain, and track key operations metrics, in an effort to provide insights and drive cost reductions2. Own driving, consolidating, and reporting out the comprehensive Amazon Devices Product Roadmap3. Build and maintain reporting for strategic investments within Amazon Devices4. Provide support for month end reviews, forecasts, and annual operating plans5. Build financial models, derive insights from large data sets, and present analyses and recommendations to senior leadership in Operations and Finance6. Produce ad-hoc analyses and assisting in various projects7. Drive increased efficiencies by automating reporting & analytics and enhancing existing processes- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Bachelor's degree- 5+ years of leading cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience- 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience- Experience in Excel (macros, index, conditional list, arrays, pivots, lookups), or experience building and managing financial models for business forecasting and problem solving- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results- Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines- Experience working with a cross functional team- Experience building and maintaining relationships with business partners- Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions, or experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment- Can show strong verbal and written communication skills- Knowledge of Excel, COGNOS, or OracleAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Los Angeles County applicants: Job duties for this position include: work safely and cooperatively with other employees, supervisors, and staff; adhere to standards of excellence despite stressful conditions; communicate effectively and respectfully with employees, supervisors, and staff to ensure exceptional customer service; and follow all federal, state, and local laws and Company policies. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
