We are looking for an experienced Finance Controller with 8–15 years of experience to lead and oversee the organization’s financial operations, accounting processes, and financial controls. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Finance Controllership, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Accounts Payable (AP), along with a proven ability to manage financial reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall finance controllership function, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial accounting and reporting.
• Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, AR, AP, and financial reporting.
• Own the Accounts Receivable (AR) function, including invoicing, collections, customer reconciliations, aging analysis, and resolution of outstanding balances.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including vendor invoices, payment schedules, vendor reconciliations, expense verification, and payment controls.
• Drive timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes while ensuring accuracy of books and accounts.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, MIS, cash-flow reports, and other financial analysis required by leadership.
• Establish and maintain strong financial controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures to minimize financial and operational risks.
• Monitor receivables and payables to optimize working capital and maintain healthy cash-flow cycles.
• Ensure accurate bank, customer, vendor, and balance-sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies promptly.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, auditors, tax advisors, banks, vendors, and other external partners as required.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, taxation requirements, statutory regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate schedules, documentation, reconciliations, and explanations.
• Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes, improve reporting accuracy, and increase operational efficiency.
• Monitor financial controls and recommend corrective actions wherever gaps or process risks are identified.
• Work closely with business and leadership teams to provide financial insights, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
• Manage and mentor finance team members while establishing clear objectives, ownership, and performance standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• CA/CPA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, controllership, or a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience managing AR, AP, financial controls, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Prior experience leading or managing a finance/accounting team is preferred.
