POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Cybersecurity Compliance Analyst will support the Connecticut Judicial Branch infrastructure redesign initiative in a technical compliance advisory capacity. This role focuses on validating network security configurations, ensuring regulatory alignment, and guiding engineering teams through hardening and remediation activities.

The candidate must have strong hands-on networking and firewall validation experience combined with deep compliance exposure.

Key technical focus areas include:

- Cisco networking configuration validation

- Palo Alto firewall expertise

- NIST, CJIS, and IRS Pub 1075 compliance

- POA&M development

- Hardening guidance and STIG baseline creation

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

- 8+ years Cisco networking experience with compliance/audit exposure

- Experience participating in NIST / CJIS audits

- Strong technical documentation including POA&Ms and hardening guidance

- Government or regulated environment experience preferred

- Degree preferred but not required (cybersecurity, networking, or related)
